As I'm sitting here writing my very first post on my very own blog, I'm reminded that it was exactly one year ago that I was preparing myself to be "The Bachelorette". First dates are nerve-racking. No question. But for me it's not the usual worries like am I going to like him? Is he going to like me? What if this date totally bombs? No. The questions that go through my mind are WHAT THE @*?# AM I GOING TO WEAR? Are we going to be walking a lot? What is he going to be wearing? Should I wear a dress? Jeans? I don't know about you all but sometimes I wonder if my skin got the message that I'm not a teenager anymore.
