All the Details Behind Gibson’s Nursery Plus a HUGE Giveaway from Oilo

Hi. Remember me? It’s Emily. I know it’s been a long time and I’m sorry. Between having a baby, moving, and Christmas, I’m lucky if I remember to call my mother on a daily basis. My sweet 3 month old, Gibson, just moved out of my bedroom into his very own nursery and I must say, it’s absolutely fabulous.

I was introduced to Annalisa from Oilo through a friend and after many phone calls and emails back and forth, I feel like she translated all the craziness going on inside my head into the most perfect nursery for Gibson. I told her I like color and all white. I told her I like wood cribs, but also love metal cribs. Love wallpaper, but also love paint. Basically, she’s an angel and I’m a nightmare client.

I know it’s not the traditional “baby nursery” but I knew I wanted something that I hadn’t seen on Pinterest a million times already. Since Tyler and I decided not to find out the gender of the baby, we decided on a simple color scheme of black and white with hints of gold, instead of the traditional pink or blue. I absolutely love how the frame from the painting matches the gold on the two dressers we put together to make the changing table. My favorite piece in the room has to be the glider though! You may think I’m crazy for having a white chair anywhere in my house with 2 boys and a house full of animals, but since it’s leather, it’s totally wipeable. Not to mention, it’s super comfortable for all of the middle of the night feedings! In the end, the room we came up with is the calmest room in my entire house and goodness knows I need all the calm I can get these days!

  11. We had found out that we were having a baby girl! We got all the girl things we needed! I just gave birth and come to find out our beautiful baby was actually a boy! Ayden Troy is his name! He has been using girl stuff so a new nursery makeover would be such a blessing for our baby boy! Thank you!

  22. OH my gosh! I am so in love with Gibson’s new nursery. I also have a baby boy on the way, his name will be Theodore (theo or Teddy for short). He is due in May. My Fiancé and I are in the middle of buying our first house also, yay! It is kind of stressful. I have followed you since you were the bachelorette (my favorite one ever), and have watched your family grow. It is amazing how genuine you are. I hope you are having a great day!

    His Nursery is abSolutely lovEly! I am in love with eveRything in it! I am 23 Weeks prEgnant and just got told some potential bad news, i have some bleeding in my placenta. I am praying that i can hold out and have a healthy baby so much it hurts. I have almost theee Year old little girl and then im preGnant with a Boy, noah. I woUld absolutely love to win this giveaway as with all the medical bills and being on bedrest it would relieve a lot of stress!

    I have fOllowed you since your day 1 on the bachelor. I absolitly adore you! Your daughter has grown so much, im thankful i finally have time to read your blog.
